There are certain tips for many managers to get there management to listen to them:

1. You have to design your idea in such a manner that it should be presentable and lively. Such ideas catch the listener's attention.

2. Think over your idea properly and systematically. Check all your ideas completely from start to end and then come up with a perfect plan. It helps the manager to understand your idea quickly which saves your manager's time.

3. Test your idea with co-worker and ask for feedback. If they give the feedback in the negative sense, then you need to accept it.

4. Ways to gain the manager's attention:
- Techniques to reduce expenses
- Adopting certain methods to increase revenue
- How to improve efficiency
- Provide alternative ideas  to managers to solve problems
- Plan your ideas in such a way that it will result in achieveing the goals of the company.

5. Tips on how to prevent losing the manager's attention:
- Self-promoting or building castles in air.
- Making your job easy on cost of others.
- Idea built on the basis of assumption.

6. As you finish with presenting your idea, then answer the manager politely.

7. If the manager starts giving you suggestions, it may help you to improve your  idea.

8. Don't think that you will always get credit for your work, just keep providing ideas to the company. Telling everyone about your idea, does not make any sense. It shows you are not mature.

9. Decide who all will be involved in shaping that idea, who will it have an impact on the most, whose support you need, etc.

10. If needed, study some more details. Ideas are not just to put on your managers desk. You have to step a little further to make that idea work in a proper manner and impress the managers.
