Quick conversation
According to the size of the organization, in each month have at least two uninterrupted conversation. By practising this, a manager can maintain healthy relation among the team members and with the team members. These types of meetings will take just half an hour, but will allow the manager to stay on top of every important issue.
Be focus
Keep the conversation into focus. The objective should be made transparent to the employees, this helps to keep the discussion on proper track. Remember that an individual may need your help while working on the issue, so focus more on important goals.
Focus on future
Instead of discussing what happened in the past, you need to focus more about what is going to happen in the future. The conservation should be presented in such a manner that it encourages employees to move ahead and work on the issues which are most important.
Approach
The conversation can be made in many ways between the manager and the team members. Allow the person you are meeting to speak. Try to encourage them to bring forward any work related issues. Only listen, don’t judge immediately. Just clarify things and answer what is being asked. Then discuss challenges and opportunities related to that particular issue.
Collaborate
Managers should not feel any constraint while expressing solutions. Permit employees to express their opinions because a new mind comes out with different ideas. Encourage the employee to think about every possible alternative.
Retrieve the conversation and choose the appropriate action taken by individual, which will help the individual to move ahead. Soon manager will come to know what should be done. Reviewing helps both of them to be clear about their expectation. Once this process is planned, it can bring effective changes in culture of an organization.
