During recession Human Resources management are asked to introduce new ideas, change the procedure and process of HRM. And this efforts should be taken which costs minimum to the organization. Innovation of HRM is easy and possible when business is growing, but it is very difficult in recession.

Recession is not the end of recruitments firms but it is opportunity to study the profiles available in the market. It is said that enter the market but carefully.

During recession the HRM should focus on innovations which are not much popular, so that they can save the money of the organization. The senior management expect from all the members to give innovative ideas and solutions which will help the organization to become strong. Here are certain points to be focused by HR management at the time of recession are as follows:

To increase the strength of manpower in your company, take the initiatives to increase the productivity and efficiency of the whole organization. Try to work on compensation benefits. Take efforts to design training and development programs in a better manner.

Also the HRM has to find many innovation solutions during recession like, to identify talented employees and to pull them in the organization. To identify the top potentials and development program should conducted to strengthen them.

The HRM should have some priorities in their mind especially in time of recession. There role is not minimize the expenses of the organization, but to make the organization strong for future growth. Here are few recommendation when the employer suffer negative challenges during recession:

4.Review the performance of every employees to identify the employees that the company cannot bear loss behind them.

6.Prepare yourself with group and individual concerns for counseling session.

7.Maintain a healthy atmosphere.

8.Check all HR processes, policies and procedure to make sure that there contribution is there in the success of the company.

9.If your company is laying off someone, first make sure that there is no other opportunities for them in other function or department of the organization.
