Back3 Simple Steps To Overcome The Fear Of Interview
1.Re-think fear.
One good thing about fear is that it creates energy in you. And this triggers us to take action. The other symptoms of excitement are that you get are that your heart starts racing, hands keep sweating, and cheeks get flushed up. The only difference between fear and excitement is just a single word, willingness. Thus, from now onwards if you feel that your fear is overtaking you, just give it a new name. Feel it like excitement but view it to yourself as your will to do it. Due to all this, you will not close in on your fear but instead you will participate and go gaming even if its an interview!
2.Stop fearing.
By carrying out laser preparation, you can reduce the fear of interview. Remove sometime initially, for carrying out the research work about the company, job position and also the interviewer. If you have more information, then you can simply reply back to the questions put in your way. Now, remove time for preparing your answers. You cannot give any irrelevant answers which may lead you to lose the job. Next, you should have a complete picture of the entire interview, right from the time you have entered till you exit. You should have a practical picture and the proper results you are waiting for. When you have a practice of overcoming fear, it will be possible for you to do the same when it actually happens. Lastly, go for the interview with a great feeling and patience. Do what your parents are expecting from you. Take a good sleep, eat well and take a proper breakfast and also go for a long morning walk. This will help you bring down your feeling of fear and anxiousness.
3.Conquer it when it comes.
When you start getting that creepy feeling, take notice of it but after that just forget about it. If you will not do it, your attention will get diverted from the interview towards your own internal feelings and fears. The connection between you and the interviewer breaks not because of your fear, but more due to the internal fascination that pokes you. Therefore, you should just relax and take no notice of it. Just remained focussed, on the interview and the interviewer. Thus, even when you will be in a state of anxiety, you will be back in full swing in the interview.
