Motivation Experiences

What Motivates you?, is also one of the important question which depends on your background and past experience. It can put you in serious problem if you don\'t think about it before interview. Conveying the things from which you are satisfied in your job will not help you much, but it will help you when you divert your focus on what you expect from your next job.

Lets see the answer of two candidates for this question, based on values and some important things to them.

First one says, In my previous job, my job was to work directly with customers and customer related problems. I just love to solve their problems and helping them in different things. Sometimes it becomes very hectic, but i feel satisfied when the customers appreciate my work.

The above answer reflects that the candidate is interested in helping people and get the feeling of satisfaction as he solve their problem.

The second candidate says, “Before two years, i had taken up a project and was very excited about it. My team has find some modern ideas to market the product which does not have good response by customers. It requires lot of efforts and long meetings, but we achieved our target and successfully introduced a terrific marketing campaign. This experience was really motivating.

This shows that the candidates is very dedicated and like to think broadly being a part of team. He also like to take up the challenges and work good along with pressure and time limit.

Preparing a Script

Expressing thoughts in writing will help you to remember the time when you were energize in your work, the time when you think to go ahead in your work. Take some ideas from your resume, what all tasks you have written in your resume. Among them which task you enjoyed most and which felt you most motivated?

That task can be highlighted in your resume might be:

• Leader of a project: Coordinating a team and observing the progress of project at every stage to assure that the project get completed within the time provided for it.
