Crazy Mistakes While Job Search

If you are really serious about searching your job than you need to avoid some ways which destroy your job search.

1.Writing a resume in such a manner that no one wants to read it. Focus should be given on you and your past while writing the resume. It must show your potential employers how you stand different from others to move ahead.

Some people are very careless about their job and career goals. Otherwise you can show them how it affects their career. And always remember, employers is buying you not your resume.

2.Don't waste your time behind published job opening. If you want a good and long lasting job than visit some good placements agencies. It is a sought of competition because you are putting yourself in the place where everyone else is also there. But if you want to move fast, this is not the way to go.

3.If you give your resume into market or post in many different sites and think that at some or the other point they will have work for me. But you are absolutely wrong in your concept. The only thing which happens here is printing company and website owners will get rich. Don't waste your time in distributing your resume because it is the least productive way to look for a job.

4.Fail to follow up. They don't even think about the job search campaign, until you don't even plan to follow them personally by phone or e-mail. It is again that old competition.

5.Waiting for phone to ring. Is it the worst thing to wait for someone important to call you back and especially when you know that you are suppose to call them first. If you have this attitude that- I have got good looks, lots of experience, an excellent work history. And you expect them to come first, than you are in a long job search. You have to take the step first by calling them and find out what is happening.

6.You get only one chance to come in front of that person who can be your boss. Its better to come in front of them like a pro. So keep yourself prepared, rehearsed and assertive. If you cross your limits during interview than you will be out.
