Job satisfaction in the workforce is one real measure to see the success of company. During tough competition among good people, a company need to locate itself at the good place to work. Working environment should reflect that the company really care about there employees. If employees are satisfied they give more productivity, suffer less from stress, give their extra efforts when necessary, and this make their career better and successful.

How can a manager build a satisfied workforce?

Communication: Employees who constantly communicate with their managers and company build a high level of trust.

  • Constant communication in large or small group, and with each and every employees.

  • Employees wanted to hear the positive feedback for their efforts. As they get positive feedback they give more productivity and get higher level of satisfaction.

  • Involve employees in taking important decision. Take the feedback from employees on important decision and utilize them in your direction.

  • Train your employees on how they can make their career better.

Listen

Listening is a part communication skills,but it has its own importance. Active listening is necessary for every manager.

  • Make yourself presentable to the employees.

  • Start conversation with them.

  • Know their challenges.

  • Understand why the employees are not satisfied.

As you understand all these issues you can work find out the solution for them.

Training

A company invest in its employee professional satisfaction with the purpose to translate them into employees satisfaction.

  • Know the learning style of your employees.

  • Allow employees to speak about their professional development.

  • Discuss about training initiative with the employees.

  • Give them training regarding their job, if necessary, but also give them some training apart from their current job.

  • Keep the record of training of each and every employees.

Conduct exit interview
