Politics is a part of every organization.Political decisions encourage secrecy,deal making,rumors, self confidence,self interest,self promotion,but this all does not make effective team.
Understanding office politics
Politics specially in country like India is very common and HR department is the center of such activities.A person who has ever experienced any job,knows that work environment plays an important role in the business.
If employees and managers pay attention on political aspects of work,then they can\'t concentrate on their jobs.This results in financial loss,which may also turn in job loss.
Avoid office politics
You are innocent,if you don't know the problem.If you know the problem,but don't know the solution you are ignorant.If you know both problem and solution,but you don't want to use,then you are offender.
Like other problems,there is a solution for politics as well.To decrease the impact of politics in your organization consider the following points:
Stress performance:Rewards must be earned by hard work,but with favors.Pay,assignment, and promotion are increased on the basis of performance.
Suggestions are based on merits:Accept the opinion based on merits,not because you personally like the person making recommendations.
Reject recommendation which does not sounds properly: It is unsound not because persons making the suggestion have a history of fighting your proposals.
Keep open communication,secrets are harmful for organization: Promotions, new plans, changes, or bad news should communicate openly among the company. It does not effects the work place with any kind of politics.

Political behavior should be avoided.
