What Should Be The Length Of Your Resume

How long should your resume be?Is a common question asked by the client and customer.The answer is,the length of resume should long as per its needs.

There is no law against writting a two page resume,mostly for the candidates who have high experience and high qualification.If you make a resume of two pages,then it should be worth reading.Because the motto behind your resume is to get to an interview,but not to tell your entire life history.

Focus on important points in your first page including your degree,certificate and work experience.Summarize certain things if possible and remember that you can elaborate them in an interview.

Most probably 65-70% of resumes are one page only.If you find any difficulty in making one page resume then you can follow these ways:

• Reduce the size of your name and address.

• Minimise the size of fonts from 11 to 10.

• Reduce the size of margin,but not less than 0.5 inches.

• Reduce the size of heading.
