Group discussion is used by the organization to judge the candidates. Under this method the candidates are provided with a topic, and few minutes are given them to think about that topic. Here are some tips to achieve success in group discussion.
1.Initiate: Try to be the first one to start the conversation, in case if somebody else has started, then relax. You will get many opportunities later on.Listen carefully it helps you to analyse and you will be able to speak the right thing at the right time.
2.Remember: Always try to remember names, facts, figures, quotations. These factors helps a lot if you know who has spoken what, or you can write in the notepad if you are permitted.
3.Observation: Notice body language, how discussions take place and many things. Then do the right thing at right time.
4.Manage: There are many situations where some people create difficuties. This is the best chance to explain dynamic attitude.
5.Communicate: Be specific,friendly and jovial while communicating. Your voice should be loud enough to reach people but should not irritate people.
6.Summarise: If you are unable to initiate the talk, then this the correct time. If you had listened it carefully, you will summarise it in a excellent manner.
