Every employers try their best to keep their employees happy. Salaries and benefits are not always important,but engaging the employees and making the worplace a fun place really matters.Afterall we spend more than half of our day in office.

Many employers organise some traditional days, festive and birthday celebration, parties etc. These ways are not old, but outdated also and they are quite expensive in nature. These type of celebrations are liked by few employees who are interested in them.Others don't like these activities. Lets watch out some ways of having fun at stressful workplace. And these activities involve low cost , involve less time, and entertain the employees.

1.Make your desk enjoyable: Bring some artistic, cartoonist, and tattoo things close to your employees. This will create fun environment for all.And the best part this activity will take not more than 10 minutes, so no working time is lost.

2.Colourful competition: Arrange some contests like making best out waste materials, logo competition, etc. Make teams and give them the time limit to come up with their creation. Provide them with all raw material and leave them to think upto their best.There are no movement in this activity and it requires low cost.

3.Keep a week for fun/health: Daily fun at workplace will effect the organization, organise a week from a quater to have fun. A fun week must includes some games or it may be a movie. On the other site. A health week which matters a lot for an employees.Check out for camps, keep a session on fitness and stress, health tips and distribute water bottles. This makes employees feel caring and engaged. Benefits - high employee value, less time involved, and participation are non-restricted.

4.Happy hours: Happy hours should be organised in a month,where all the employees comes together for an hour. And have fun by having some ice-cream, snacks, or chats. This activity increases networking, consumes less time and more suitable for small team.

5.Games during break: Play games like scarbble, word power, chess etc during coffee break.They does not occupy much space and prove to be a good break over the tea or coffee.

6.Quick breaks: Once in a week, arrange 15 minutes break for team within work area. And make them play memory games, dumb cherrads etc. Less cost, no movements, fast relax are the benefits comes from this activities.

7.Musical breaks: Get some musical instrument like guitar during break other than work area available for employees. This will entertain others and also give break to the employees.Make sure it is away from work area, otherwise it can affect others in meeting or in their work.

8.Workshops: Organise painting, dancing to encourage employees and help them to learn some new things within the peroiod of 15 days. Develop their hobbies and spend some fun time with employees.This helps to bring people closer, removes stress and barriers and bond the employees to each others.

9.Hobby classes: Hobby classes includes painting, craft, music etc. It should be conducted on any two days in a week and during lunch hours. Begin with the talent in-house,if you find someone to teach you,then you are lucky.It is beneficial for stress busters and high value employees.
