Today's Crisis Offers Opportunities for the Future, says The Boston Consulting Group
The current global financial crisis offers potential opportunities for growth to GCC companies that respond early and positively, according to a new study by The Boston Consulting Group (BCG).
The GCC study is part of BCG's ongoing global Collateral Damage Report series. The four-part series was launched in October 2008 and, since then, has provided insights into the unfolding of the global downturn. The latest global report, Collateral Damage: Preparing for a Tough Year Ahead: The Outlook, the Crisis in Perspective, and Lessons from the Early Movers, published in December 2008, considers the economic outlook for 2009 and describes the varied assumptions that some major companies are making for the year.
