- Capture the voice of customer (requirements)
- Identify gaps between product cost, quality, and performance as existing vis-à-vis possibilities.
- Conduct exhaustive literature survey and evaluate the technology state-of-the-art.
- Define technical concepts.
- Validate technical concepts through strong theoretical model and through discussion with experts.
- Convert concepts into detailed design.
- Validate each part design towards the project objective.
- Coordinate material sourcing, prototype parts & products.
- Exhaustively test and validate the products.
- Generate detailed technical documents of the products.
- Hand over product to regular production.
