Job Description / Detail
Key Result Areas:

1. Strategic and Business Plan Achievement and Sales Forecast.
a. Develop and execute overall business plan, sales plan and channel plan for India.
b. Conceptualize, plan, implement and monitor Sales Business strategies to achieve growth in sales.
c. Monitor the sales and collection and provide necessary support to the team for successful achievement of the Business plan.
d. Own P & L accountability for the business.

2. Drive Marketing and Product Management:
a. Drive & manage distributors as national level.
b. Manage key customer and channel relationships including with builders, distributors & OEMs.
c. Lead marketing efforts to create relevant product portfolio, target demand generation programs and manage pricing.
d. Strategic planning for brand positioning and product positioning.

3. System Compliance and MIS:
a. Analyze down stream reports and appraise upward periodically.
b. Analyze and report competitors strategies upward on pricing, Placing, promos, schemes, Product Features.

4. Logistics /Supply Chain Management:
a. Suggest to Supply chain Management for timely delivery of consignment.

5. Leading the team & management:
a. Lead and deploy sales team to achieve sales targets.
b. Develop organizational capabilities to service the market.
c. Mentoring and monitoring the performance of the team.
d. Accessing & implementing sales training programmes


Decision Making Authority and Controls:
Decisions Made Alone: Execution as per the Business plan.
Decisions on Consultative Mode: Intra and Inter-regional market expansion.
Decisions referred to Higher Level: Pricing, placing, product mix not covered under the business plan.


Work Relationships:
Internal Customer: Marketing / Sales team
External Customers: Dealers and Distributors.
